Join the Yale Club of San Francisco for an intimate evening with Akhil Reed Amar (BA '80, JD '84), Sterling Professor of Law and Political Science and one of the world's pre-eminent experts on the U.S. Constitution. Professor Amar teaches constitutional law in both Yale College and at Yale Law School, has been cited in more than 50 Supreme Court cases (the most of any non-emeritus scholar), and regularly testifies in front of Congress at the invitation of both parties. He will discuss recent Supreme Court decisions and current events, and will share insights from his book that will be released on September 16th, Born Equal: Remaking America's Constitution 1840-1920.
The event will be held at the home of Pulin Sanghvi '92 P'29 and Anu Sanghvi P'29 in Redwood City. The address of the event will be shared with registered attendees before the event. Drinks and heavy hors d'oeuvres will be served. For those who wish to stay later, Professor Amar will stay for informal conversation around the fire after the event.
