She was making Yale history before she was writing about it!
The Yale Club of San Francisco invites Bay Area alumni to join Alexis Krasilovsky ’71 at Clio’s Books in Oakland on October 13, 7-9 PM to celebrate her new novel, Portrait of an Artist as a Young Woman.
A member of Yale’s first graduating class of women, Alexis also made the university’s first film by a woman undergraduate. Her new novel draws on those pioneering years, and the ambition, art, liberation, and struggle to find a voice that came with them.
Alexis will be in conversation with acclaimed author Judy Juanita, followed by Q&A and a book signing.
