Yale Blue Green Yosemite Campground Cleanup

  • Yellow Pine Campground CA United States (map)

Yale Blue Green-SF Bay Area chapter is organizing a new upcoming volunteer project at Yosemite National Park: a campground cleanup at Yellow Pine. The project is scheduled for Saturday, June 13. We will have a campsite for Friday, June 12, through Sunday, June 14.

The Park will provide:

  • A National Park Service work leader

  • All project supplies, safety equipment, and instruction needed

  • They will send a gate pass for free entry into the park and arrange campsites (but not camping gear).

  • There is no charge to participate in NPS projects.

Volunteers may be asked to assist in cleaning out campground and picnic area fire pits and grills, as well as other general campground cleanup work. Depending on park needs, a volunteer group may be asked to drive to different parks of Yosemite which may or may not be near your assigned campsite.

This event is kid-friendly for children ages 12 and up. If you have a child or children interested and is of age between 5 and 12, please let me know and we can ask NPS for prior approval.

If you have any questions or would like to participate, please email ybgsanfrancisco@gmail.com.
