Join YCSF for a group outing to the Legion of Honor Art Museum in San Francisco. This will be a full morning of events, featuring a private tour of the museum’s special exhibition and a picnic lunch on the grounds of the Museum.
9:30 AM - Museum opens. General admission to the museum on this day is free for all Bay Area residents. When you arrive, check in with the event organizers to sign up for one of two groups.
10:00-10:30AM and 11:00-11:30AM – Private tours of the Museum’s special exhibition. Legion of Honor Curatorial Cataloguing Fellows Ana Rodrigues (YC ‘25) and Camila Otero (YC ‘25) will guide us on a private tour of the special exhibition of artists’ books, featuring the work of Joan Miro and Pablo Picasso. Tours are 30 minutes at 10AM and 11AM, capped at 15 people each. When not on the private tour you are free to enjoy the general exhibition.
12:00 PM – Following the private tours, we will gather on the lawn of the building for a picnic lunch, weather permitting. The exact location is to be determined. Look for the Yale flag!
General admission for the private tours and picnic is $20. Space is limited to 30 registrations to accommodate the special tours.
