Our friends at Yale Blue Green SF invite all members of the Yale Bay Area community to attend their spring calendar of events. January 25 (SU), Field Trip to Jasper Ridge Biological Preserve, 12:00-3:00, with an educational hiking tour to learn about the natural history of the Santa Cruz Mountains and ongoing research and stewardship projects at the Preserve.
February 8 (SU), Third Annual Lunar New Year Potluck, The Chapman’s in Berkeley, 11:30-2:00. (address provided upon registration)
March 15 (SU), Trees for Oakland, Tree planting in Oakland, tentatively at Mandela Parkway, to restore the urban canopy, 10:00-1:00.
April TBD (SA), Yale Day of Service Project: Lake Merced Restoration in San Francisco, We will once again be beautifying one of our city's parks and restoring native habitats for migratory birds.
April 25 (SA), Point Reyes Birding & Nature Festival, Join this three day festival where participants saw 170+ bird species last year, and then gather with YBG folks for brunch.
May 9 (SA), Yale Day of Service, The Gardens at Lake Merritt in Oakland, 9:45-12:00; you can register to participate at the YDS link in early April.
